I may be answering my own question here…
But checking to see if other’s are having any weird bugs after upgrading to 7.0. I just finally had time to test out all the new features with my Sony A7sIII. And whether using an iPad Pro, or my iPhone 13 mini, every time I tried to take pic via remote control, the button would automatically switch to video and do a video clip instead. This happened whether on M or S on the camera mode.
I’m still on FW 2.1 on my A7sIII - so assume this is the culprit… just wasn’t planning to upgrade my FW any time soon… so wondering if any one else has seen this??

Sorry about the video recording bug - that’s been fixed with Cascable 7.0.1, which was released to the App Store yesterday. It’s not a problem with your camera.
We’re not aware of any other particular problems with Sony cameras.
Thanks. Just tested and it’s better, not going to the video button automatically any longer. I’m am still having a few oddities… but need more time to report back.
I also will likely update my FW first… before checking back.
